Got Turkey?

center picture: Norman Rockwell, "Bringing in the Turkey"

From my years as a primary teacher I give you the following...enjoy...

                                                                Turkey, Turkey

                                                     Turkey, turkey look at you,
please be careful what you do.

                                                    Thanksgiving Day is almost here,
                                                          we eat turkey every year.

So run and hide out in the woods,
and we'll eat pizza as we should!

  2. I love your header image...and the collage is fun too.
Autumnal shades feel so warm and cozy...makes me want to wrap myself in a cashmere scarf and sit by the fire sipping tea.

  3. Great poem. I'm thinking about all kinds of fun turkey craft activities based on this poem for my daughter's preschool class.

  7. Funny how now that drawing reminds me of Harry Potter - how times have changed! It definitely feels like Thanksgiving-time, doesn't it?

  8. Well I like your red chairs out looking over your beautiful garden.
The frost got my garden last night down to 26 degrees.
Can't wait to eat turkey, now that sound sad after seeing the happy turkey.
