Garden Flag ~ Une Saint-Valentin pour vous!

I found this Mary Engelbreit garden flag on sale at Michael's right after Christmas...perfect for wishing you all Happy Valentine's Day. I love it's happy colors; it really adds cheer to the garden during this drab winter month...I added a few extra hearts via Picnik just to make sure it was 'valentiney' enough. And I get to see it everytime I come down the driveway.

  1. When I was a little girl, I always loved to see the monthly "Good Housekeeping" come to my grandma's house because of the Mary Engelbreit page in the back. She would always let me know when it arrived. As any wonderful grandmother would, she would call me before she even read it to come and tear out my favorite page. Wow, do I really miss her now that she is gone...But, she has left me with so many wonderful memories to treasure!

Thanks for sharing your "happy" flag because it brought back that "happy" memory from my childhood.

    Happy Wednesday!

  9. How fun! Maybe if I switch out our snowman flag to a Valentine's flag that might help with our wintery mood/weather.

  10. Charming flag; I think it would put a smile on one's face:)

Scrolling down I saw a corner of white painted brick, perhaps a fireplace?? Did you paint it yourself? I have a massive brick fireplace and we have a love/hate relationship...
