Le Printemps ~

My daughter recently did a very cute blog post on chalkboards that included a great video; you can see it here: http://loveandlifeatleadora.blogspot.com. My poor chalkboard has been sitting naked since the holidays and her post  inspired me to write something on it. Just to add another element I decided to get some colored chalk and experiment. One thing about chalkboards is that you can be fearless...it is so easily changed!

What better to write then: Le Printemps est ici

Spring in here!

I used Pixlar again to edit this photo...I am really having fun with it.

Thank you for visiting I hope you get some colored chalk and have a 'Spring-like' day.

  1. A blackboard can be so practical as well as pretty if placed strategically. your message heralding Spring is such fun but we should have to keep to words only as our drawing skills are nil!!

On your recommendation we shall take a peek at what your daughter is up to on her blog.

  2. Thank you for featuring my chalkboard! Although I love the look of chalkboards, they certainly can be a nuisance. Yours is just perfect. I especially love the colored flowers.

  6. so - Pixlr... I too have been playing with it... but, I'm editing, framing, adding text & stickers to a slew of my photos before Picnik closes down. Urghh. Saving them to my computer for future posts.
    Your pretty flowers are adorable.
