Bee Mine...

Like a lot of other bloggers I have been having fun with some of the different editing programs. My real goal is to learn how to use Photoshop but along the way I seem to get easily side-tracked by some of the more 'user friendly' and just plain amazing effects offered by Picmonkey and Pixlar. This image however, I did with plain old Picasa. It is a photo of a iron bee I have sitting on a stone wall in my garden. I cropped it and used the invert colors effect. Interesting don't you think?

Thank you for visiting. Hope you are having a great day 'buzzing' around doing fun things...now I must get  back out to the garden and pull some more weeds!

  1. Hello Adrienne:
We are totally incapable of using any of these photograph programmes and we are constantly amazed at what you manage to achieve. This is indeed a most unusual and striking image.

  4. It is much fun trying all the editing programs. I like the user friendly ones. Not sure I will be able to master Photoshop. I have tried PicMonkey and will try Pixlar. I usually stick with Photoscape and Picasa, comfortable old standbys.

  6. I love the invert option and often use it as well. The image becomes very different indeed and also interesting in a new way. Love yours.

  7. Playing around with images is great fun isn't it? I find I can sit at the computer and hours can whip on by before I notice. You certainly look like you had fun with your bee image. The colors are especially pretty and make the plain photograph look like a watercolor artwork.

  8. I agree, playing with all the editing programs is lots of fun. The problem is I could spend hours at the computer playing and get nothing else accomplished at home. The effect you used here is quite jazzy and fun. Have a great weekend.
