A Reason to Smile ~ Snowmen

I had finished decorating the house for the holidays and was starting to put all of the containers away when I happened upon the one with all of my snowmen. I haven't put them out for a while and they looked so cute I couldn't stand it. I decided that they would add a festive note to my bedroom...

so here they are!

All different sizes and shapes...

some are riding on sleds...

and some are going skiing...

and some are happy just looking cute.

Now every time I go in this room I have to smile.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you have lots of things to smile about during this glorious season.

  7. Your collection of snowmen really needed to be out and enjoyed--they look fabulous in your bedroom. The sled is so cute too.

  8. How do you keep your kitten from attacking all your decorations?
Our Chester has tipped over almost all our plants and continues to de-decorate the Humble Bungalow.
I am worried about the Christmas tree and all our vintage baubles not to mention the lights!

    1. I am surprised too...for some reason so far she has been a very good girl. I try to give her lots of play time so maybe that has something to do with it. She is very playful and she does like to leap up high on things, right now I am trying to convince her that the kitchen table is off limits! Persians do tend to be a bit more docile than other breeds.

  9. Hi Adrienne: Oh, I haven't been around to visit for awhile. I really hate it when I think I have so much going on that I don't have time to visit with everyone. I'll try to make that a new year's resolution. And you know how well those work out! HaHa. Your bedroom looks so charming with the fireplace and chintz? sitting area. Great place for your snowmen. I have quite a large collection of snowmen also but it seems I have a large collection of everything!! so I usually put them out after Christmas because that is usually when we get our most snow and then I don't go through withdrawals from having to put all the Christmas decorations away..Thanks again for visiting me..Happy Weekend..Judy

I am so busy with my poodles, they take alot of time everyday, walking and grooming. I love it though. I have lost 25 lbs since getting Carley! I am go the poodle diet...lol

  13. Your snowmen are darling and anything that makes us smile is always worth the effort to do. I imagine you spent a few years at least collecting them all and I bet they come with memories, too making them all the more special.
Is that fireplace in your bedroom? If so what a lucky lady you are. I could so curl up in bed and hibernate for the winter if I had a beautiful fireplace like that in my bedroom. I can almost hear the fire crackling.
