Ghostly!

I have always thought that this Martha Stewart template for a ghost was very cute, but I never had a place to use it. Then the other morning when I was eating breakfast I looked at the blackboard in my kitchen and thought...aha! That is a perfect spot for a not-so-spooky little ghost.


I down loaded the pattern from her web site and enlarged it to fit the chalkboard. This is by far one the easiest and cheapest Halloween  projects. If you really want to get fancy check out here the absolutely wonderful Martha Stewart Halloween fans my daughter made...talk about spectacular!


For the minute investment of time and money I think this little guy makes quite an impact...


Now except for the treats I am ready for Halloween.


...last year I made mice and this year a ghost. Thank you Martha!

    You really have a wonderful decorating touch. What a cute ghost! I think it's brilliant to put him on the chalkboard this way, like he's popping out from the corner. Very creative!

    This is nice Adrienne! i like this kind of Halloween decoration, Heather's is nice too. I used to make some for my children, but just in a corner of the house and gentle one like yours.Here, we don't have Halloween.

    Martha does inspire those little sparks of creativity for sure! I love his/her new place to haunt...A very friendly ghost!
