Early in the morning a few days ago, before the sun was fully up I went out for my morning walk and this is the sight that greeted me:
A few years ago I planted a few of these miniture Tete-aTete daffodils down the center of my driveway, each fall I tuck in a few additional bulbs and without fail in March they offer up this lovely vision. During the warm months after the daffodil foliage dries up creeping thyme and golden oregano fill the spot.
I am very fond of all daffodils but I have a special place in my heart for these little guys, reaching 8 to 10 inches, so dependable, multiplying every year even in our warm climate.
They don't last for very long...maybe a couple of weeks. As you walk out the gate today they are wishing you adieu.
They are just beautiful. I bet you smiles every time you look at them!!
