When I woke up this morning the sun was just beginning to rise casting the whole garden in a golden hue. It was so lovely that I wanted to make an attempt to capture it with my camera and share it with you.
I planted this Honey Burst Locust tree hoping that the new, brilliant yellow foliage, would appear as the same time that the yellow Lady Banks rose on the arbor behind it was blooming, I added the Euonymus later. This lovely synchrony won't last long, the rose is once blooming and the leaves on the tree will turn green, but the sight as it is right now always thrills me.
Here at the pond, the early morning sunlight seems to make the water glisten, up close the fish are darting about making little waves among the newly blooming water lilies. The smaller tree over-hanging the edge is really a shrub that I have pruned into a tree form, it sports chartreuse foliage all year and is still covered with it's orange, winter berries - during the warm months it has lots of small purple flowers.
This is one of those times as a gardener that I forget the work, the frustrations, the disappointments and just feel so lucky!

DeleteI love early morning light - it's actually my favorite light in the garden, and those walks through the garden in the morning on my days off is something I deeply appreciate. I can understand so well that you wanted to capture this special atmosphere. As always I'm in awe of your garden.
ReplyDeleteI always love your garden but seeing it in the morning hours is even better! I'm 'laid up a bit' for health reasons so in the slower pace I must go for a few weeks I am enjoying the sights and sounds of early morning in my neighborhood. Things are in full bloom here in the valley of Oregon and the early morning bird songs make me smile. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden - it's always refreshing to stop by and visit.

Après 5 ans de relation avec mon petit ami, il a soudainement changé et a cessé de me contacter régulièrement. Il proposait des excuses pour ne pas me voir tout le temps. Nous nous sommes finalement mariés et nous sommes maintenant mariés avec bonheur depuis 2 ans avec un fils. Depuis que le Dr. Padman de padmanlovespell@yahoo.com m'a aidé, mon partenaire est très stable, fidèle et plus proche de moi qu'auparavant
